| Flammable Liquid | A liquid having a closed cup flash point below 100°F (37.8°C). Flammable liquids do not include compressed gases or cryogenic fluids. Flammable liquids are subdivided as follows: 1. Class I-A - Liquids having a closed cup flash point below 73°F (22.8°C) and having a boiling point below 100°F (37.8°C). 2. Class I-B - liquids having a closed cup flash point below 73°F (22.8°C) and having a boiling point at or above 100°F (37.8°C). 3. Class I-C - liquids having a closed cup flash point at or above 73°F (22.8°C) and below 100°F (37.8°C). |
