Drug Category: Haematinic/vitamins.

Contents: Caps: Dried ferrous sulph. 150mg (equiv. to 47mg Fe), folic acid 0.5mg, thiamine mononitrate 2mg, riboflavine 2mg, pyridoxine HCI 1mg, nicotinamide 10mg, ascorbic acid 50mg; sustained-release capsule.

Indications: Prophylaxis of iron, folic acid and vita­min deficiencies in pregnancy.

Dosage: Adults: 1 daily. Children: Not applicable.

Interactions: Tetracyclines. Levodopa.

Adverse effects: Mild Gl upset.
